Salt Spring Island doesn't cater to black people, in fact the locals chased me of the island because I was too free spirited and out spoken. They made my life a nightmare on that island. Saturday market would be good if they got rid of all the Harley Davidson motorbikes parked in front of it. I was treated very badly their and will never go back.

This is the town park of Ganges, and is a hub of activity in the summer. Overlooking the harbour, this cute little park is home to the Saturday market, which is a huge draw for both tourists and locals. There are public washrooms and a playground for children. It's a focal point for community activities in Ganges, and worth a visit.
